美國移民看過來：2016年，美國家庭收入中位數(shù)增至59039美元，創(chuàng)有記錄以來新高，但中產(chǎn)階級人口在過去40年來卻一直在下降。

據(jù)《商業(yè)內(nèi)幕》報道，美國人口普查局發(fā)布的報告顯示，2016年，美國家庭收入中位數(shù)增長了3.2%，從2015年的57230美元增至59039美元，這是有記錄以來的最高值。同時，貧困率下降了約1個百分點，至12.7%，接近2007年金融危機前的水平。2016年貧困人口總數(shù)比2015年減少了250萬。

不過，美國的收入不平等狀況依然嚴重。富人持續(xù)積累更多財富，而生活在底層的20%人口卻每況愈下。皮尤調(diào)查中心的數(shù)據(jù)顯示，美國中產(chǎn)階級人口過去40年一直在下降。

“中產(chǎn)階級”是一個很微妙的概念。地域不同收入不同，有的地方中產(chǎn)階級的收入高達250,000美元/年。皮尤慈善信托基金(Pew Charitable Trust)的國通博客(Stateline Blog)最近發(fā)布了一項分析，顯示美國各州中產(chǎn)階級呈現(xiàn)縮水狀態(tài)。在這個分析中，皮尤將中產(chǎn)階級家庭定義為收入為該州收入中間值的67%—200%的家庭。
